Hello,

My last name is written according to an old Indonesian spelling. The new version is spelled “Sunaryono.” It sounds almost like “So Now You Know.” But the correct pronunciation is “Soo-nar-yo-no.” … there, so now you know.

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia.  When I was thirteen, my family and I moved to New York City, where I spent my childhood in Queens and finished college in Manhattan.  After I married my husband, I made Maryland our home. 

We have a beautiful daughter, who is in Pre-K and loves to say, “I hope you’ll buy me a present!”  She is a smart and talented four year old; friendly, happy and yes, very  handful, too.  We’re very fortunate.

It’s been a while since I last wrote well, but I do my best to remain productive.
